The Holiday Home

A holiday home in typical Apulian stone Lamia with saracen vaulted ceilings built in the early ‘900 by a family from Ostuni. Originally it was a “Palmento” a structure used for the production of wine by the inhabitants of the Itria Valley who stored the must, obtained from grape pressing, in tanks dug into the stone. The Lamia has been recently and elegantly restored with respect to the environmental and architectural features.  It is surrounded by two hectares of cultivated land, with a large garden and swimming pool and extensive stone patio surrounds.

There are three matrimonial bedrooms, a single bed in pretty alcove, two bathrooms, one kitchen and small corner kitchen, living and dining room which can seat up to 7 people. The structure also provides and small external laundry area.

Outside you can find a large patio with build in table and chill area.

The garden features a 13 x 3 meter swimming pool, an outdoor stone shower, a barbecue area and lovely quiet corners.

Near the swimming pool there is a large lounge bar area with a brazier surrounded by masonry seats, and an Apulian-style piazza, of about 250 square meters, enjoying the shade of beautiful century olive trees.

The garden is made up of Mediterranean plants and essences and is embellished with quality furnishings.
The large outdoor area is cultivated with olive and fruit trees, delimited by the typical dry stone walls.
A shaded parking area is available for guests.
